Cowboy Tack has changed a lot in the last 30 years, but the classic style, quality and function of their products have not changed. It is designed and built by experienced horsemen who use it on a daily basis on good saddle horses. Professional horseman, cutters, ropers and working cowboys have depended upon the craftsmanship, top quality materials and "horse know-how" built into every piece of Cowboy Tack. Their motto is, "It’s the Little Things that Make the Difference"! Cowboy Tack began when a young Texas cowboy started cowboyin’ for the well-known Haythorn Land and Cattle Company north of Ogallala, Nebraska. Catching horses from the remuda one morning, the wagon boss noticed that one horse had a cinch sore. It was traced to that Texas cowboy, and the new cinch he’d purchased. Working at night and utilizing an old buckle that was proven not to sore a horse, the young cowboy strung a new mohair cinch-the same design and quality you depend on today from Cowboy Tack. That was the beginning of Cowboy Tack, born out of pure necessity! |
