Dave Wilkie was born in San Francisco and moved to Canada during the 1970's. He released his first album in 1977, "The Mandolin Kid" which eventually became his nick name. Stewart MacDougall hails from Fredericton, New Brunswick, on the Atlantic coast of Canada. He has contributed to the careers of several singers and bands, such as K.D.Lang. Both Dave Wilkie and Stewart MacDougall are former memebrs of Ian Tyson's Band, The Chinook Arch Riders. His music is eclectic, with a blend of musical styles and traditions, from fresh interpretations of traditional cowboy music, to cowboy boogie, waltz and swings, to quasi-classical, to Celtic.
