Jingle Bobs are popular for the "jingle" sound they make. Rowels with a center hole that is larger than the rowel pin will naturally "jingle" when walking. The horse can hear the jingle sound and know the rider is wearing spurs, causing a change in the horse's behavior. Jingle Bobs are used as much for style and fashion as for function. |
