For shirts coats and vests --generally, Small, Medium, Large, etc run about the same as Tee Shirt Sizing. However more spcifically: SMALL: Chest:34" to 36" Collar:14" to 14 1/2" Sleeve: 32" MEDIUM: Chest:38" to 40" Collar:15" to 15 1/2" Sleeve: 33" LARGE: Chest:42" to 44" Collar:16" to 16 1/2" Sleeve: 34" X-LARGE: Chest:46" to 48" Collar:17" to 17 1/2" Sleeve: 35" XX-LARGE: Chest: 50" to 52" Collar:18" to 19 1/2" Sleeve: 36" XXX-LARGE: Chest:52" to 54" Collar:20" to 21" Sleeve: 37" To measure the chest, take the tape measure and run the tape around your body just at the arm pits To measure the neck, run the tape around your neck, not too tight-- so you can get at least 2 fingers under the tape. To measure the sleeve, start at the center of the neck and run the tape over the shoulder down to the wrist--to the desired length. Remember, for vintage style pants, they generally ride a little higher than modern pants. You might have to add an inch or so to make them fit correctly. The inseams may have to be hemmed, most of the vintage paints will come with 36" inseams.
