This is the most popular bullrope in the arena today. Meticulously hand braided by Saddle Barn's skilled braiders, this rope has several extra features that are only available with Saddle Barn "Pro Rodeo Equipment." The block, riser and handhold are saturated with additional heavy leather lacing, greatly increasing the durability and strength of the rope. Multi-polymer nylon cording braided into the rope handle disallows excessive stretching maintains the handle shape. The leather lacing in the bottom handle allows for periodic adjustment of the handhold slack, increasing the life span of the rope. These ropes feature full leather laced handles with plastic cord in the handle for strength, heavy laced block and riser, and sliding nylon keepers. Available in left or right hand. The Super Pro Bullrope comes in several plaits: 9 Plait: This is the most popular plait with the professionals. It is the hardest, tightest and most uniform of all bull rope plaits. When braided correctly it takes the most time to braid. Plait is about 3/4 inch wide and streches down very little. Fancy 7 Plait: Becoming more popular than ever, it is about as wide as a 9 plait but us softer and more spongy in the hand. 5 Plait: This is a popular plait with ascendant competitors. Similar in width, but more coarse, than the Fancy 7 Plait, it is also very mushy. It is the fastest plait to braid. Baby 9 Plait: Recommended for smaller hands. Braided hard and tight like the regular 9 plait yet with fewer threads in each plait, giving it a measurement of 9/16 inches wide. |
